Across fourteen tracks, the South African star fuses amapiano, pop, and R&B with total confidence and a resolutely unapologetic style. Sultry, danceable, and global—it is African pop in all its power. The album follows her self-titled debut, "Tyla" (2024), and the "WWP" EP (2025), which she described as a bridge to this project.
Tyla explained that she had more time to work on this album than on her first. She views it as more personal, linked to her growth—feeling like a "woman" at 24—and to a clearer artistic direction following the "hectic" period of her early career.
